This position presents a chance to engage with a wide range of thoracic conditions, necessitating advanced technical expertise in Thoracic Surgery.
The practice is experiencing significant growth in both benign and malignant esophageal diseases, with excellent access to robotic surgical techniques. Surgeons will operate in a dynamic environment characterized by diverse and high-volume cases, supported by a cutting-edge lung program that incorporates robotics and artificial intelligence, fostering close collaboration with interventional pulmonology. Position Details:- Full-time employment
- Combination of inpatient and outpatient/clinic responsibilities
- Allocated time for urgent cases within the schedule
- Annual salary ranging from $575,600 to $600,600
- Strong statewide referral network with ample growth potential
- Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available
- Eligibility for federal and state loan repayment programs
- Board Certification from the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
- Completion of a fellowship in Thoracic Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery, focusing on lung and chest procedures
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- J1 and H1B visa applicants are encouraged to apply
The medical center, established in 1859 by Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV, has evolved into the largest private, nonprofit medical facility in Hawaii, featuring 575 acute care beds and serving the entire state and the Pacific Basin.
