Work a predictable 7-on, 7-off rotation while managing a broad cardiothoracic surgery case mix, including robotic-assisted thoracic procedures and trauma call coverage.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient rounding and consult coverage
• CABG, valve repair and replacement, and aortic surgery
• Robotic-assisted lung surgery, lobectomy, segmentectomy, and decortication
• Esophageal and mediastinal procedures

Schedule

• Monday through Sunday coverage in 7-day blocks
• 7-on, 7-off rotation
• Trauma call and emergent cardiothoracic surgery coverage
• Scheduled hours confirmed during scheduling

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Texas medical license required
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular or Thoracic Surgery CAQ, or Board Eligible within 5 years
• ACLS and BLS required

Logistics

• No travel or lodging reimbursement provided
• Mileage, rental car, and airfare are not included
